No tool is perfect for every job, and neither is the S25-35XE. Here are a few things to keep in mind before investing.
If you are replacing your current IC or lead acid forklifts with a lithium-ion forklift, you'll need to update your infrastructure and procedures.
Lithium-ion batteries are not compatible with lead acid battery chargers. Consequently, you’ll need to install appropriate charging stations while decommissioning lead acid charging racks as they become obsolete. Likewise, drivers who are used to operating lead acid or IC forklifts will require training on lithium-ion charging, including the procedures for opportunity charging.
None of these hurdles are particularly high, but they do make conversion more complicated than a simple swap out.
While the Renegade is an indoor/outdoor forklift, it focuses primarily on outdoor applications.
The pneumatic tires, higher ground clearance, and wider stance make it excellent for outdoor yards and bringing materials into your warehouse. However, it may not be your best option for picking from interior warehouse aisles.
