Best-Selling Clark ELECTRIC Forklifts

Clark electric forklifts for sale in Knoxville, TN

Clark forklifts are among the top 10 most popular lift trucks in the U.S. because they’re reliable and versatile.

In this article, we’ll do a quick rundown of the most popular electric Clark forklifts in Alabama and Tennessee. We’ll also answer some common questions including:

  • Are Clark forklifts made in the USA?
  • Can electric forklifts be used in the rain?
  • What applications benefit most from electric forklifts?

CLARK Electric Forklift With PNEUMATIC TIRES

The Clark GEX is designed for indoor and outdoor use. It has solid pneumatic tires and is a versatile addition to any equipment fleet.

Capacity: 4000-10,000 lbs.
Applications: Indoor/Outdoor Manufacturing, Warehousing & Shipping/Receiving
Tires: Pneumatic

We’re often asked, “Can electric forklifts be used in the rain?” Clark’s GEX can. It’s designed to be an indoor/outdoor forklift.

As Clark says on their website, “two ‘hands’ aren't always better than one.” In other words, transferring loads between an indoor and outdoor forklift is inefficient compared to using just one truck for both environments.

Clark’s GEX electric forklift is designed to be your go-anywhere, do-it-all lift truck.

  • The 80-volt 100% AC motor delivers the power you'd expect from an internal combustion engine forklift — with lower maintenance costs and less downtime.
  • The zero turning radius allows the GEX to operate in areas other forklifts can't, like narrow aisles in cold storage environments.

If you have narrow or even very narrow aisles, consider one of Clark’s 3-wheel electric forklifts:

  • The ESX 3-wheel stand-up electric forklift
  • Or the S-series 3-wheel electric forklift

Clark 3-Wheel Electric Stand-Up Forklift

The ESX is Clark’s 3-wheel, stand-up electric forklift. It’s fast, energy-efficient and engineered to operate in tight spaces.

Capacity: 2500-5000 lbs.
Applications: Manufacturing, Warehousing & Shipping/Receiving
Tires: Cushion

Other Features Include:

  • Multifunctional control handle
  • Enclosed electromagnetic brakes
  • 100% AC system
  • Heavy-duty drive motors & axles
  • Rugged upright and carriage

Clark 3-Wheel Electric Sit-Down

Capacity: 3000-5000 lbs.
Applications: Manufacturing, Warehousing, Bottling & Shipping/Receiving
Tires: Cushion

The Clark Electric S-Series Offers:

Tight right-angle stacking — Counter-rotating drive wheels and steer tires that turn at 90 degrees

An all-electric motor braking system — No drum or wet disc brakes means no pressure levels to check and no fluid leaks to worry about.

Electric steering minimizes operator fatigue and increases efficiency.

Eleven different chassis and capacity configurations — Get a forklift tailored to your operation

Other Features Include:

  • Adjustable performance modes.
  • 100% AC power from 36V or 48V batteries
  • Self-activating parking brake
  • Speed limits while turning

Are Clark Forklifts Made in the USA?

All S-Series forklifts, including the SE15-25T forklifts mentioned above, are made in Lexington, Kentucky. Clark’s R&D department is also based in Lexington. According to a press release from 2019, the company’s long-term plan is to manufacture 80% of its products for the U.S. market in Lexington.

Clark TWLi20 3-Wheel Lithium-Ion Forklift

Capacity: 4000 lbs.

  • Powerful 48V lithium-ion battery
  • A “plug and play” battery charger
  • Intuitive dual joystick controls

The integrated lithium-ion battery means this forklift can be opportunity charged during break periods and shift changes. Lithium-ion batteries also require very little maintenance compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. Learn more about when to use a lead-acid vs. a lithium-ion battery.
